Instructions

So, for this quiz I'm going to use it as a, "Proctorio" practice quiz.

In fact, two quizzes, 05 and 06, are, "Proctorio" practice quizzes. They are similar in format to Lecture 01-04 quizzes but you'll need to use, "Proctorio" with Google Chrome to make them work. So, there are 5 questions but a 60 min. time limit and you have multiple attempts. The point for these two, 05 and 06, is to work with, "Proctorio" because you have a real lecture exam coming up. Instructions for, "Proctorio" are in the syllabus and in Modules/Proctorio Instructions.  Go read those and get ready to take these two quizzes and the lecture and lab midterms and finals using it.
One thing, sometimes Proctorio asks for an access code.  We will never use access codes.  If you get that request consider the following advice from Proctorio, "Remember this helpful tip:  Students must use the Google Chrome browser with the Proctorio extension, on a computer, not a smartphone or tablet. If you haven't set up your computer properly, when you click the quiz, you'll get a screen like this: https://jmp.sh/8UL1ebCI

Students need to click inside the orange error window where it says "click here", but if you click Take the Quiz, you'll get a screen asking for an Access Code and the solution to that is to go back to the quiz, and click the Extension link. Use Chrome. Install the Proctorio extension. Enable the Proctorio extension for incognito mode. The quiz walks the student through these things. This is very important because if the extension has been properly enabled, then it should fill the code in for the user."

Lecture 05 quiz
Each is worth 5 points. There are 20 of them. They must be completed on the days and at the times listed. They are open book quizzes but it would be best if you listened to the material, studied the material a bit and then took the quiz in an attempt to complete it without referring back to your notes.  That would be your best preparation for the real exams which contain similar questions but are NOT open book.  These quizzes are all due three to five days after the lecture material should have been viewed by you but they are all open from the beginning of the course so you may work ahead.  They are all due by 6 pm. You may enter the quiz any time until 6 pm but you must complete this quiz in 60 minutes once you've entered it so if you start at 5:45 pm you’ll only have 15 minutes to work out any, "Proctorio" problems.  It would be best to be very familiar with the material before you open the quiz and even better if you're pretty comfortable using, "Proctorio" after you finish it.  You will have another chance with Lecture 06 quiz.
