Overview

The Course Home Page is the first view your students will see when they enter your course. Think of it as the first impression! In Canvas, there are five Course Home Page options instructors may select from:

Home Page Options

  • Course Activity Stream
  • Pages Front Page
  • Modules
  • Assignments list
  • Syllabus

While each Home Page option offers a variety of benefits for students and instructors, the instructional pages in this module will focus on the development of a Front Page as the Course Home Page.
