Though you don't need to answer the following questions directly, let them guide you in discussing your perspectives on the developmental stage of early adulthood: What do you think is the most important criterion for becoming an adult? When does a person become an adult? Does it make sense to describe becoming an adult in terms of "emerging adulthood" over a period of years or is there a specific age at which someone becomes an adult? If you consider yourself an adult, is there a specific experience you associate with that transition to adulthood? If you don't yet consider yourself as an adult, when do you think that transition from adolescence might occur?
