Module Objectives:

 The "Course Roadmap" button on the home page provides a brief introduction for each module.  In addition to that general overview, each module in the semester also has specific objectives to help frame and direct our study together. You recall from the syllabus that there are Student Learning Outcomes for this course as well as Specific Instructional Objectives for this course. The objectives flow from and connect with the student learning outcomes and instructional objectives.

Describe the early theories of attachment 

Contrast styles of attachment according to the Strange Situation Technique 

Describe self-awareness, stranger wariness, and separation anxiety 

Use Erikson’s theory to characterize psychosocial development during infancy
