Personal Application: Consider your own development:
Think about your development from as early as you can remember up to the person you are today. Specifically, consider the developmental issue of nature (heredity, genes) and nurture (environment, experiences) as discussed in Chapter One. Describe two or three of your personality traits and then talk about whether you believe these traits are due to nature or nurture. (For example, were you born with a certain disposition or do you believe it was developed over time? Are you "naturally" patient or did you learn it from your parents or caregivers?) Be specific in describing a few of your personality traits and where you think they came from.
The assignments (beginning with Module Three) are worth 10 points. The first two modules are "practice"--with no points assigned. Remember all work is due by 5:00 PM on the date assigned. Late assignments are not accepted. Assignments should be at least 100 words in length or points will be deducted. (NOTE: Work is to be submitted only in the submission box provided. Please do not write in the "Comments" section.)
