Accessibility Features on All Chromebooks

No matter who built your Chromebook ā€” Acer, Dell, Samsung, HP, Lenovo, whoever ā€” you can be certain that your device runs on the Google Chrome operating system. (This is different from the web browser.) So all Chromebooks have the same set of accessibility features.

To open your Chromebook's accessibility features:

  1. Click the date and battery area to get to your settings, then click the Gear icon.

  2. You'll see a list of settings on the left. Scroll to the bottom and click "Advanced" (there's a little stick figure next to the link name).
  3. Click "Manage Accessibility Features" to see a list of your options. Depending on your Chromebook, the menu will look something like this:

For more detailed instructions, and information on each setting, go to Google's Chromebook Accessibility web page Links to an external site..
