Overview of Tech for Writing
Welcome to Tech for Writing!
In this module I'll provide information on software that lets you talk at your computer instead of typing (dictation software), like Google Voice Typing and Dragon by Nuance. I'll also give you some tips on using Microsoft Word and Google Docs - and did you know that you can use Microsoft Office 365 for free? I'll tell you all about that too.
I'll close out the module with a look at Mindomo, a mind-mapping program that can help you organize your thoughts before you start writing. It also lets you create outlines straight from a mind map. (The basic version is free.)
