Notes in Kurzweil 3000
"Sticky" Notes
These yellow notes can be added to any page margin. To listen to a sticky note, you need to click the text within the box. Here's how to add one to a page.
- Click the icon that looks like a page with a pushpin sticking in it, then click where you want the note to appear.
- When the yellow box appears, type in your note.
- Click anywhere outside the box when you are done typing.
Text Notes
These notes do not have a colored background, and you can add them anywhere on a page. They are read automatically along with the text. Here’s how to add a text note:
- Click the icon that looks like a big letter A, then click where you want the note to appear. A thick red line will flash on and off where you clicked.
- Start typing your note. Your text will appear in bold blue letters.
- Click anywhere else on the page when you are done typing.
