Study Guides in Kurzweil Online

Annotating and Creating a Vocabulary Study Guide

In this video, I demonstrate highlighting text, then show you how to extract highlights into a study guide, then create a vocabulary study guide.

(If this won't play in Canvas, you may watch my Kurzweil 3000 demo on YouTube.)

Step-by-Step: Creating a Study Guide

Just in case videos aren't your thing, here are step-by-step instructions:

  1. Click the Highlighter icon in the toolbar on the left and select the Study guide button.
  2. Click OK in the pop‐up box.
  3. The browser window will show you a new document with only the text you’ve highlighted and your notes.
  4. You can save this to your Universal Library by clicking the Save icon at the top left, then selecting Save Document As.
  5. Give it a name, and select the folder to save it in.
