Module 3 | PowerPoint | Accessibility Checker
Automated Accessibility Checkers
Automated accessibility checkers are a wonderful resource and starting point to help you check the accessibility of your course content. However, no automated accessibility checker will guarantee that a page or document is entirely accessible. Accessibility checking requires manual inspection and often, human judgement.
Microsoft has a built-in tool that generates a report on the accessibility of a document. The tool is available in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
In addition to the manual checking you will need to complete to ensure the accessibility of your content, it is recommended that you run the Microsoft Accessibility Checker within any document you plan to use.
