How Does It Work?

The smartpen has to be used with special paper. You can buy special Livescribe notebooks, although we do provide them at Skyline. The paper is covered with tiny dots--so small that it just looks gray.

When you turn on the smartpen and tap the little Record circle on a notebook page, the pen starts recording audio using a tiny built-in speaker. As you write on the page, a small camera embedded in the tip records the position of the pen on the page.

After class, you just turn on the pen and tap anywhere on the page to hear the audio from class. You can then add to your notes as you listen.
