0.2 - What do you mean by 'pause the video'?

In many of the YouTube videos you'll watch in this course, I advise you to pause the video and repeat what I just demonstrated in your own course and then return to the video. However, you may have noticed that if you navigate to your course from the same page you were playing the video, you'll lose your place in the video play back. Here are some steps to make this work flow a little easier:

1. Pause the video you're watching.
2. Open a new tab or window in your browser. Once there, navigate to Canvas and open your course in that window or tab.
3. After trying out what you've seen in the video, return to the tab or window where you were watching the video and hit play.

You may also want to have a window with the video and a window with your course open at the same time. Depending on the size of your monitor, this may be too cramped, but try it out to see if this works even better for you.
